Bath light rail corridors probed

Consultants have identified four corridors in Bath with the greatest potential for light rail.

Conservative-controlled Bath and North East Somerset Council commissioned Atkins last year to explore the feasibility of a tram system in the city. This was despite the recently completed West of England joint transport study, also by Atkins, making no mention of trams within Bath, although the Bristol to Bath corridor was one of four identified as being suitable for a “mass transit”...
