The London Borough of Wandsworth is to install at least 50 charging points in streetlighting columns and a further five free-standing charging points.
The chargers will be paid for using Wandsworth’s £187,500 share of the £4.5m grant awarded to 25 boroughs through the Office of Low Emission Vehicles’ Go Ultra Low Cities Scheme. Wandsworth will provide match funding of £62,500.
