Keolis is trialling a driverless shuttle bus in the Olympic Park in east London this month. The shuttle, manufactured by French electric autonomous vehicle specialist Navya, will navigate a 1km route serving four stops and taking about 12 minutes per trip. The public can sample the service, which will be staffed by an on-board conductor at all times. The vehicle uses sensors, cameras, odometry and GPS mapping to navigate.
