The Alliance of British Drivers has launched a campaign against London mayor Sadiq Khan’s draft transport strategy, saying it represents the “biggest attack on drivers’ freedom and wallets yet”.
The ABD criticises the strategy (LTT23 Jun) which advocates reallocating space away from vehicles and floats London-wide congestion charging. The mayor wants to cut trips by car/taxi/private hire vehicles from 36% to 20% by 2041.
