The board of British engineering and project management consultant Atkins is recommending shareholders approve a proposed takeover by Canadian engineering and construction group SNC Lavalin.
SNC Lavalin said the acquisition would create a £6.9bn (C$12.1bn) global professional services and project management company with 53,000 employees.
