Patrols to be removed from NI towns with low level of fines

Up to 42 towns across Northern Ireland could lose their regular traffic attendant patrols because of the low level of penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued per month.

Under new Department for Infrastructure (DFI) proposals, areas with fewer than 10 PCNs issued a month or vehicle drive aways (VDAs) will be removed from the schedule for routine patrols.
