PTV Group has set up a ‘blue skies’ group to explore the next generation of software for managing urban transport systems.
The German traffic and transport software and consultancy company has appointed Jaume Barceló as a full-time strategic advisor and member of the blue skies team.
Barceló is the co-founder of TSS (Traffic Simulation Systems) and developer of the Aimsun software. He is also an emeritus professor at UPC Barcelona, Spain.
