Hourly Belfast to Derry rail service

An hourly train service between Derry and Belfast will be introduced by this summer, Northern Ireland’s infrastructure minister Chris Hazzard has announced. The more frequent service will be facilitated by line improvements between Derry and Coleraine. Hazzard has also asked operator Translink to conduct a feasibility study of an express service between Derry and Belfast, and explore frequency enhancements on the Newry-Belfast line....
