Capital’s lorry control scheme under review

London Councils has commenced a review of the London Lorry Control Scheme, which controls the movement of heavy goods vehicles in the capital at night and weekends.

The scheme has been in place since 1985 and operates between 9pm and 7am weekdays, and from 1pm on Saturday afternoon to 7am on Monday.
