Parking levy mooted for Bristol area

Congestion charging or a workplace parking levy may be necessary to fund transport improvements in Bristol and the surrounding area, the city council has suggested. 

The unitaries in the West of England area (Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and Bath and North East Somerset) are consulting on a draft spatial plan and a draft 20-year transport strategy (LTT 28 Oct).
