The Welsh Government is consulting on establishing a National Infrastructure Commission for Wales (NICfW).
It will be an advisory, non-statutory body, and take a five to 30-year outlook on energy, transport, water and sewerage, drainage solutions, waste, digital communications, flood and coastal erosion management.
The Wales Infrastructure Investment Plan would continue to be set by the Welsh Government, informed by the Commission.
