Scotland gets £3m to improve trains and stations

More than £3m of extra funding for Scotland’s railways will go towards improving passenger facilities and increasing accessibility on board trains and in stations, the Scottish Government has announced. Investments will include a new ticket office at Blairhill station in North Lanarkshire as well as new ticket vending machines at the ten busiest stations.
