Phil Bateman MBE has retired from his position as Confederation of Passenger Transport manager for the West Midlands region. Bateman, who is a Labour councillor on the City of Wolverhampton Council, joined CPT in 2008 from Travel West Midlands, where he had held a number of roles over 20 years including corporate affairs director.
