The High Court has refused disability campaigner’s a judicial review of Reading Borough Council’s decision to switch-off a pedestrian crossing in the town centre. 

The lights at the Target Junction, a crossroads at one end of the pedestrianised Broad Street were switched off in 2015.

Guide Dogs says the decision has made the area a “virtual no-go area for many people living with sight loss”.

Unity Law launched a legal case against the council on behalf of guide dog...
