The speed camera ‘industry’ needs speeders to exist

Malcolm Bulpitt of the simplistic and naive ‘If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime’ brigade (Letters LTT 01 Apr) completely misses the point in that, although “speeding” does not cause accidents and cameras cannot see one single accident cause, there is far too much focus on speeding and profiteering at the expense of actual accident causes such as driving too fast for the circumstances and dangerous driving.
