Three mayor-led Combined Authorities announced

Elected mayor-led combined authorities for the Bristol area, East Anglia and Greater Lincolnshire were announced by Chancellor George Osborne in the Budget this week. 

All three deals feature bus franchising powers and multi-year local transport budgets.

The East Anglia deal covers an  Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It includes a £900m investment fund over 30 years.
