Planning permission for Bristol’s new £92.5m arena has been withheld because of concerns over transport and parking provision at the site. The 12,000-seater venue, which is being championed by the city’s mayor George Ferguson, will be located next to Bristol Temple Meads railway station. 

Bristol City Council's development control committee said the plans lacked detail and were not ready for a decision. Among issues raised were parking problems for neighbouring residents...
