Taxi app offers disabled users a free ride

02 December 2015

To mark this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which takes place tomorrow, disabled users are being offered a free taxi ride worth £30 by app developers assist-Mi and Gett.

The providers of black cab app Gett has formed a partnership with assist-Mi, an app designed for disabled users that combines two-way messaging and location-based technology.

Gett is offering assist-Mi users access to over 8,000 black cabs in London and a further 2,000 throughout the UK. Assist-mi users will also be offered a priority five-minute booking service and fixed prices over longer distances.
