Campaigner’s bus data doesn’t reflect the real world

As John Dales points out in his article, there are lies, damned lies and statistics (LTT 02 Oct). Then there are figures that are away with the fairies, and I am afraid some of the bus capacity figures quoted in Paul Withrington’s letter in the same issue fall into that category.
