Queensferry Crossing breaks height record

The towers on the new Queensferry Crossing over the Forth estuary have become the tallest of any bridge in the UK, reaching 160 metres and surpassing the 156-metre towers on the adjacent Forth Road Bridge and the Humber Bridge. Once complete, the Queensferry Crossing’s towers will be almost 200 metres high. The 1.7-mile long structure will be the longest three-tower cable-stayed bridge in the world.
