Hertfordshire County Council is to consult on a revised package of bus cuts that are even deeper than previously planned.
The council’s original consultation proposed withdrawing all supported services after 6.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and all day on Sundays, in an effort to save up to £887,000 a year. The proposals attracted considerable criticism, with the council receiving more than 4,500 responses, plus seven petitions with thousands of signatures.
