SEStran, the South East Scotland Transport Partnership, is to purchase land immediately south of the Tay Bridge for use as a 350-space bus-based park-and-ride facility serving Dundee. The Tay Road Bridge Board is to sell the land to SEStran for £13,000. The partnership will then apply to Fife Council for planning permission. A P&R facility at this location features in the Scottish Government’s Strategic Transport Projects Review.
