HA erects air quality barriers on M62

The Highways Agency has started construction of two air quality barriers near junction 18 of the M62, near Simister, Greater Manchester. The £2.5m project will see the 100-metre-long, four-metre-high wooden barriers built on both sides of the motorway by September. Their effectiveness at dispersing emissions will be monitored over a year. ...
