Ferguson presses on with Bristol resident parking

Bristol’s mayor George Ferguson is pressing ahead with his ambition to roll out resident parking schemes (RPS) across the city.

Two more schemes in Redland and Cotham North, due to start in July, will bring the number of schemes to four, with Bristol City Council planning to introduce a total of 12 RPSs across the city. 

As with all the parking schemes, the operation of the Redland and Cotham North RPS will be reviewed after six months and then once a year.
