A public bike hire scheme was launched this week in Glasgow. The £600,000 scheme sees 400 bikes available for public hire at 31 locations across the city, with additional temporary sites available at six Commonwealth Games venues.
Annual membership will cost £60 and hires are free for the first 30 minutes, thereafter charged at £1 an hour, capped at £5 for up to 24 hours.
