The opening date for the Croxley rail link, which will extend Metropolitan Line trains to Watford Junction, has slipped from 2016 to 2017, according to project promoter Hertfordshire County Council. As part of the project, the existing Watford Metropolitan Line station will be closed. New stations will be built at Cassiobridge and Vicarage Road on the route to Watford Junction, which makes use of a disused railway alignment. ...
