Gloucestershire County Council has awarded Amey a five-year highways contract.
Amey will replace Skanska, which inherited the existing seven-year contract this summer as part of its purchase of Atkins’ highways operations and maintenance business.
Amey’s contract begins on 1 April and includes: routine highways maintenance; structural maintenance; drainage; winter service; management and design of major projects and road safety schemes; and professional services support.
