Obstacle strewn cycle lane in Tower Hamlets criticised

Cycling groups have condemned the opening of a new cycle lane, which is strewn with obstacles, that riders claim makes that stretch of road is now more dangerous than before. The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has been accused of bungling after it opened £8,000 stretch of pavement featuring lamp-posts, parking machines and litter bins along the busy Bethnall Green Road.
