Eleven bodies join drive for electrification of surface transport

Eleven organisations have come together to put the case for more electrification of public transport, bringing together all the modes from rail to car. The partners comprise rail manufacturer Alstom, bus and car maker Nissan and professional bodies AVERE, CER, ETRA, EURELECTRIC, EUROBAT, Going Electric, Polis, UNIFE and UITP.
