A new three-storey car park at the University of Essex in Colchester is providing students and staff with an additional 357 parking spaces.
The total number of spaces on campus now exceeds 1,800, improving parking provision for the 6,000 students who live off campus and more than 2,250 staff and visitors using campus facilities.
The £3.5m car park’s façade is coated by 6.5 kilometres of cedar vertical fins. The steel-framed car park was built by Bourne Parking.
