Transport for London announced that four bidders have been shortlisted for the new Docklands Light Railway franchise. As well as Serco, which has operated the DLR since it started in 1997, the companies that are in the running are: Stagecoach Rail Projects; a joint venture between Keolis and Amey Rail; and a joint venture between Go Ahead and Colas Rail. The new concession is due to start in September 2014.
