A new cycle hire scheme in the West Midlands has clocked up 82,000km in journeys since the start of March. The first bikes were trialled in Sutton Coldfield, but the scheme has since been introduced in Coventry, Wolverhampton and other towns within the region. The scheme will eventually see 1,500 pedal and e-bikes, deployed at 170 physical docking stations across the seven West Midlands districts.
