Parking in a Northamptonshire town is to be redesigned at a cost of £100,000 to improve air quality. This follows funding from the Highways Agency (HA) to redevelop the Market Place in Towcester to improve the flow of traffic through the town centre and reduce congestion caused by vehicles manoeuvring in and out of the parking area.
