Park & ride for historic battle site at Rosyth train station

A 500-space ‘park & choose’ site has been proposed for Rosyth rail station in Dunfermlin, Scotland. This would see the facility sited on one of Scotland’s most famous battlefields. The parcel of grassland in question lies between the railway line and the A823(M) spur was the site of the Battle of Pitreavie in 1651.

Fife Council said the multi-million pound interchange would offer commuters the choice of catching a bus or train. The project would feature 500 parking spaces...
