Sutton declares borough-wide AQMA

Councillors in the London Borough of Sutton have approved plans to declare the whole of the borough an air quality management area (AQMA). The South London borough has traditionally declared AQMAs for specific main roads where nitrogen dioxide emissions were likely to exceed Government objectives.
