Scotland debates dropped kerb Bill

A Private Members’ Bill that would enforce restrictions on pavement parking, dropped kerb and double parking is to be considered by the Scottish government.

The Bill was initially brought to the parliament by the Scottish National Party’s Joe FitzPatrick, who launched the consultation in March 2012. But he is now a Scottish government minister so cannot introduce the bill at Holyrood.

Instead, his MSP colleague Sandra White will be taking forward the bill.
