Falkirk Council is submitting final plans to Scottish ministers to deliver a number of road improvements using Tax Increment Financing (TIF).
The council plans to borrow from the Public Works Loan Board (PWLB) to deliver infrastructure projects needed to open up 16 sites for development. Additional non-domestic rates income generated by the developments will be ring-fenced for 25 years to repay the loan debt.
