Business sponsors are being sought for a bike hire scheme in the Berkshire town of Slough.
Slough Borough Council plans to use some of its recent £4.5m DfT Local Sustainable Transport Fund grant to set-up the scheme, which is likely to feature 120 bikes located at six hire points – at the town’s three rail stations (Slough, Langley and Burnham), on the high street, and two in the town’s huge industrial estate owned by SEGRO.
