Robin Hood Line gets Sunday service at last

The Robin Hood Line rail service, which runs from Nottingham to Worksop via Mansfield and which is operated by East Midlands Trains, will run on Sundays for the first time. Nottinghamshire County Council will provide the funding until May 2011.

Rail minister Tom Harris approved the extra services from the start of East Midlands Trains’ new timetable on December 14, 2008. The DfT has committed to carry out a review in January 2011 to decide whether it will fund the service from May 2...
