The appeal of cycling in Britain’s towns and cities will only be broadened if local authorities introduce physically segregated cycle lanes along main roads, researchers have claimed.
A research team from Lancaster University, Oxford Brookes University and the University of Leeds has examined attitudes to cycling and walking in four cities: Lancaster, Leeds, Leicester and Worcester.
