A new public transport service operated by a taxi firm will be launched in a rural part of Essex next month.
The Dengie Dart in East Essex will have two components: a timetabled route between St Peter’s hospital in Maldon and Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford, and a demand responsive extension to other communities in the north of the Dengie peninsula.
