Centro is studying the possibility of introducing Parry People Movers (PPMs) to another railway line. Two of the locally-manufactured railcars are currently deployed on the Stourbridge Town to Stourbridge Junction line. PPM says it received a letter last month from Centro director general Geoff Inskip suggesting that the vehicles could also be used over a four-mile existing freight-only branch from Stourbridge Junction to Brierley Hill, close to the Merry Hill shopping complex.
