Councillors in Cornwall have dropped cost-cutting plans that could have seen every evening bus service withdrawn. Cornwall had proposed saving £500,000 a year by removing support for evening and Sunday bus services. “This may result in all evening bus services in Cornwall (27 routes) being withdrawn,” officers explained.
