LaneWatch deters bus lane offenders

A?trial?of an unattended bus lane enforcement system has been carried out by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. The LaneWatch system from Zenco Systems uses ANPR?to identify vehicles using bus lanes. Evidence of unauthorised bus lane use is captured on camera and wirelessly transmitted to an enforcement In station, where it is reviewed and passed to the borough’s Civica notice processing system.
