Buses could be authorised to operate down the hard shoulder of the M77 on the approach to Glasgow. Transport Scotland has completed a feasibility project of hard shoulder running in the morning peak period on an 8km stretch of the northbound M77 between junctions 4 (Newton Mearns) and 1 (Pollokshields).
