Post Election: Where will the axe fall on Transport Spending?

The main parties are setting out their transport policies, but the question everyone is asking is where will cuts be made?

At present, the situation facing the UK’s public services is akin to a phoney war. Central government spending has continued to rise in an effort to bring the country out of recession, but shortly after the election decisive action will have to be taken to rectify the country’s £170bn budget deficit.
