Seventeen civil enforcement officers (CEOs) working for the London Borough of Haringey have been arrested on suspicion of using “professionally forged” identity documentation.
The raid by the Border & Immigration Agency on 28 January removed the CEOs from the council’s Finsbury Road parking services headquarters. Ten of the 17 were agency workers, with the rest directly employed by Haringey’s in-house parking service.
