The Scottish Government is studying the details of a Treasury proposal to help fund the new Forth road bridge.
Treasury minister Yvette Cooper has offered a £1bn funding mechanism to help pay for the scheme, which has an estimated cost of £1.7bn-£2.3bn (outturn costs). The offer comprises:
