A major scheme business case for the Ashton Vale to Temple Meads rapid transit scheme (LTT 13 Feb) is to be submitted to the DfT, the West of England Partnership has announced. If follows the recent approval of the scheme by Bristol City and North Somerset councils. The route would connect Ashton Vale with Temple Meads, via Bristol city centre. Work could start in 2011 with the route opening in 2013.
