The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has strengthened its appeal to the transport planning profession by purchasing PTRC Education and Research Services, which specialises in events and training courses for transport planners.
Ever since the Chartered Institute of Transport merged with the Institute of Logistics to form CILT in 1999 there have been grumblings that the new organisation has a logistics bias. Institute chief executive Steve Agg has refuted such suggestions.
